The Knicks continue to be a part of the Knicks’ every move as they have dropped the first two games on the recent road trip. On Friday night in San Antonio, the Spurs defeated the Knicks, 97-93. A day later, the Rockets turned back the orange and blue by a score of 103-91. There are no moral victories at this level.
Their skid now has reached seven, and the Knicks will return home for a Tuesday night affair at MSG versus the Chicago Bulls. Expect the chants to continue.

We were always told as youngsters that if you had nothing good to say, it was better to say nothing at all. With Isiah Thomas’ latest talk to the media that he still believes that the Knicks, which he staunchly included parts of the roster that he brought in and himself, can be part of a championship, it was widely met with ridicule.
It is hard to beat someone when they are down, and also one who still has a positive outlook in the midst of disaster, but these statements by Thomas are not exactly a way to get some of the attention AWAY from a losing team. He probably is trying anything to change the atmosphere at MSG for him and his players. You can’t kill him for that. He may even be looking at a way to take the attention away from their poor play and bring even more of the heat upon himself, if that is possible. As they embark on a three-game road trip that begins tonight in San Antonio, things will not get any easier. At least the ‘Fire Isiah’ chants will not be heard until next Friday when the ornage and blue return home to host the Toronto Raptors.
